[ Higher Education (University +) ] Open Question : Go to University for free in Germany?

I have just finished my 12th in cambridge, and am planning to do my Bachelors in Fine Arts. I have an Italian passport, so being in Europe isnt a problem. I've heard alot of people tell me that studying in Germany is free, and i was like 'wow, that seems too good to be true', but is it? Any information about this would be very helpful. [ Dogs ] Open Question : Why do pit bill owners decide to stir the waters?

Not in general, but everytime I come on here, I always see a question along the lines of 'Why does everyone think pit bulls are horrible monsters?' and inside it says 'Well, mine isn't. Look how cute!' Firstly, cuteness has nothing to do with if a dog is vicious or not, at all. A dog can be as cute as...anything, but still bite your face off if you get too close. Secondly, not everyone finds pit bulls cute (I don't, I don't think they should be banned, but they're not aesthetically pleasing as a breed to me) and thirdly- why are you stirring the waters?! No-one said to you 'OMG PIT BULLS ATTACK PEOPLE FACT'. 90% of people /know/ that pit bulls aren't horrible killing machines and understand that most of a dogs' behavior is influenced by their owners and training, and the nine percent who don't know that aren't going to have their opinion changed by one person, particularly if all they're doing is showing a photograph and claiming their dog to 'rather lick a stranger to death than bite them'. So why do pit bull owners bring it upon themselves? Not to mention that to be a pit bull owner you have to drag this whole ass of other stuff with you about being against BSL (even if it's not active where you live) and it seems like much more hard work morally and socially just to own a pit bull than any other dog. I'm just curious- I'm in the UK and pit bulls are illegal. Honestly, I don't see them as cute, but I don't see Chiuhuas, Jack Russells, or Staffies as cute either, it's nothing to do with their temperment. So someone, fill me in about this.
