I am talking about those big old Kirkbride buildings built in the 1800's through to the 1950's, those monolithic places built to house thousands of patients for literally decades. Why did they close them all down from the 60's until the 90's?

Can you die from vaginal bleeding? As in, is it possible you bleed in te middle of the night, and die in your sleep? Im not sure if it's period blood..

I looked in the mirror and thought I looked like I could be the cutest beautifullest sexiest girl in the universe so I went to school acting confident and got up a lot to sharpen my pencil just so I could walk like a model to the front of the room and I ran my hands through my long hair a lot and smiled a lot. I'm normally a painfully shy girl but I felt so beautiful that I didn't feel shy. The guy I like has maybe a crush on me too so I usually avoid him cuz I'm nervous but today I walked in front of him outside during passing time and let my hair blow in the wind and I normally walk stiff but this time I loosened up and walked all sexy. I told my friends how I felt. They told me I was conceited but I think they're jealous of me maybe. So I want unbiased opinions: am I confident or conceited?

I have been talking to this guy for about 6 months and we always have a great time and I've really grown to like him. We both go to different colleges so we only see other during breaks. Everything is fine then, but he when he goes back to school, he never calls me and stops texting me as much. As he always says b/c he gets caught up and time goes by fast. I feel like he never makes an effort to call b/c he's not a big "phone talker" but I just want him to call me sometimes, we need more of a connection then texting to get to know each other better. And I've told him I need this before, but he never really stuck to it. And I feel I can't have relationship with someone who can't make time for me even being apart. I and feel like if he really wanted me, he would want to talk to me often. But yesterday he text me saying " Ur right I failed that's all I really done and I hate myself for it .... Time just goes by so fast here I'm always on the move doing something... Your beautiful and I feel like you deserve better then me, someone who has the time to put you first. I'm soo sorry, but I still really want to be with you." Should I believe him and give another chance or just be nothing but friends with him and move on?
